The Dark Side of the Moon (11am to 4.30pm, 12 Dec 2026)

with Lynn Bell at Steiner House, 35 Park Road, London NW1 6XT

IN THIS LIVE London workshop (recorded and uploaded) we will explore the Dark side of the Moon. And while you may not think you have a dark side, those closest to you are likely to know it all too well.
HOW DO ASPECTS with other planets pull the Moon towards its extremes? The Moon may describe an early childhood template or an inconstant pattern within ourselves. Flux and change, lack of clarity, irrational responses and overwhelming emotions are all part of the lunar experience. The Moon can be weepy or sullen, wild with passion, deflated or depressed. Our moodiness and despair, our indolence and laziness, can all be connected to the Lunar archetype.
THE MOON ALSO speaks to dreaming and innocence, to tenderness and care, but that is on a good day, or a good time of day. What do our lunar excesses tell us about who we are, and who we want to be? How do our misfit emotions, our private meltdowns, show us a hidden side of the soul’s journey? And what does the Dark side of the Moon tell us about the Feminine?
ASTRONOMICALLY, THE MOON is inconstant and changing. sometimes bright and full, at others losing light and, for a few days every month, completely lost to view. Ancient astrologers spoke of the sublunary realm, the world of flux and uncertainty, and the Moon in our charts connects us to both the familiar and the unknown: the parts of our psyche lost to the unconscious, our earlier selves, and at the same time an inner knowing. The Moon participates in the larger mysteries, and links us to our most personal, intimate selves.
COME JOIN US for an exploration of the other side of the Moon in the birth chart for a time of remembering. (Steiner House, 35 Park Road, London NW1 6XT, £70, includes unlimited access to recordings; free to current 101, 201 and 301 students).
